State Representative Brad Boles Re-Elected to Serve Fourth Term

April 19th, 2022

Marlow, OK– State Representative Brad Boles (R-Marlow) has been re-elected to a fourth term in the Oklahoma State House of Representatives. Rep. Boles will continue representing House District 51 which includes Grady and Stephens Counties.  Boles was first elected in March 2018 during a special election to fill a vacancy for the seat.

“This past week I filed to run for re-election to represent you as the House District 51 State

Representative”, Boles said. “I’m excited to announce that I have filed unopposed and look forward to serving my fourth term as your representative through 2024. I am very humbled and honored to continue representing all the people of District 51. I would like to thank my wife Michelle and family for all their support and thank God for giving me this opportunity to serve. Grady and Stephens counties, it’s my honor to serve you and thank you for your support! Over the last 4 years we have made historic progress to move our state forward, but our work is not done. I pray that God will give me and my fellow legislators wisdom and guidance as we make important decisions on how to best move our state forward.”

During his first three terms, Boles spent considerable time working to address rural issues.  He has authored valuable legislation this session to help protect our rural communities and set up a fund that will help to repair local infrastructure due to increased oilfield traffic.

Boles is currently serving as the Chairman of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee for the Oklahoma House of Representatives. Before serving in the State Legislature, Brad previously served as the Mayor of Marlow for 4 years and on the Marlow School Board. He is also a business executive and small business owner that employs many Oklahomans in his district and throughout the state.

“As Chairman of the Energy and Natural Resources committee, I’m working to support Oklahoma’s leading industry”, Boles said. “Oklahoma must continue to be a leading source for American-made energy. Right now, with President Biden’s failed energy policy; we are seeing firsthand the result of what happens when our nation’s dependence on foreign oil can do to our economy with historic inflation rates as well as threats to our national security.  It’s time to focus on making our country energy independent once again and in Oklahoma we have all the resources available to help lead our nation in this effort.”

Brad plans to use his next term to continue focusing on economic development and protecting our state against unconstitutional federal overreach.  Additionally, he will work on improving our infrastructure, support for education, public safety officers and our veterans, protecting the 2nd amendment and the unborn, and fighting for our vital Oklahoma agriculture and energy industries.
